The Eminem Fortnite Concert Experience

Everybody encounters a once in a lifetime opportunity. On December 2nd, 2023 I encountered one. Eminem was hosting a concert in Fortnite titled “The Big Bang Event”. As soon as it was announced I knew I had to see it. 

On the Day of the event I loaded into Fortnite an hour before it started. It showed a 15 minute queue to get into the game but that didn’t deter me. Sadly this couldn’t be said about my friend who waited in the queue, got to the login screen and was put back into the 2 hour-long queue. May he find peace for missing this amazing opportunity.

Once I loaded into the game I got into a lobby with my friends and we waited for the event playlist to open. Of course I had to play as the best skin in the game, Ariana Grande, with an among us back bling. When the event opened to the public, we readied up and loaded into the map.

I was welcomed by Sasuke into the map and I saw Master Chief dancing to the legendary artist Megan thee Stallion. I ran around the map and I could not believe my eyes. Eren Yeager was singing Slim Shady to Eminem. This got me more excited for the event to happen. In anticipation for the event I started emoting to “Master of Puppets” and of course the best emote “Shout”.

3..2..1.. the countdown reaches zero, the rocket launches into the meteor and causes it to crash into the zero point! (Oh No!) This caused it to explode and suck up the whole Fortnite island. The screen went black and everyone was worried. No more Fortnite?! No Eminem!?

But there was no reason to worry the event started back up and now Ariana Grande was in space. As I was floating in space I headed towards a Lego Zone. This transported me and my friends into a Lego World.

I was greeted into the Lego World by turning into a Lego Version of the default skins. We glided around majestically seeing everyone's favorite characters, such as Peely, Llama, and of course Jonesy. But then the unthinkable happened, we were attacked by a Lego Troll and were pushed out the LEGO World back into space.

Back in space we were transported into a Rocket League Racing World. This world was epic. There were Lamborghinis, rockets, fire, and everything awesome you could think of. Ariana Grande hopped onto a Rocket League car and joined the race. While burning through the track she did awesome maneuvers such as drifting, jumping, and driving upside down. Of course Ariana Grande won the race because she made the hit album “Positions”.

After the race we were launched back into space and thrown into a music world. Once we landed it was dark and ominous, and something amazing happened. The greatest guitar riff ever made started playing. Eminem came out playing “Lose Yourself”. Once I saw Eminem I was not afraid, and took a stand to watch him perform this dignified song.

Suddenly Ariana Grande was the real slim shady! She started playing “Lose Yourself” through this Guitar Hero mode. I was hitting those beats making sure not to disrespect the king of rap Eminem. His performance was then interrupted by a giant hand. Was this some sort of monster?

It was! A giant Eminem appeared performing the hit song “Godzilla ft. Juice Wrld”! He was so close to me I could touch him. I was honored to feel the breeze of Eminem’s hot breath on me. His fast rapping was amazing and sure blew out the performance from Travis Scott. The background was an evil shade of red and Eminem started destroying Titled Towers. I forgive him though for blessing my ears with godly rhymes only known to a few rappers. 

Eminem came back with another verse just to blow us away, literally. Yet again Ariana Grande was launched into space, but this time through Eminem’s hot breath. Flying through the milky way galaxies of Fortnite, Ariana Grande saw many multiverses. She realized everything is always connected to Fortnite, and this is truly the greatest game of all time. Where else can one play as Peter Griffin with an Among Us back bling, in a squad with Goku, Lebron James, and Spiderman, just to only be one pumped by Rick Sanchez with Naruto hitting the Griddy.

I was blessed to see this fold out and realized my purpose in life. To buy v-bucks and buy every skin in the game!
